RUBBER/TIRE MOLD LASER CLEANING
Speed is an important factor when cleaning rubber molds. For example, cleaning a (Large Truck) tire mold requires eight hours of machine downtime and the same amount of manual labor as traditional methods (blasting or dry ice cleaning). A laser cleaning system can clean 2 m² per hour, a dramatic improvement.
Many aluminum molds are used in the rubber industry. Laser cleaning will not affect the base material and outperforms sandblasting & dry ice.
In addition, laser cleaning technology can remove thicker, heavier contamination that are very difficult to remove with traditional methods.
