This powerful laser can clean, treat, coat, paint, and remove oxidation all without damaging the substrate. Even at low power, lasers can easily perform large-scale cleaning tasks and can handle rust, grease, oxidation, paint, and more. Do you like the results or have any questions? Let us know in the comments! About laser cleaning: Laser cleaning uses focused laser radiation to vaporize contaminants from a layer. Impurities are subjected to ultrashort (ns) laser pulses that generate heat and thermal pressure. The high temperature inside the material creates high pressure and vaporizes it. Since most of the impurities evaporate, there is little waste during laser cleaning and the operating cost of the cleaning process is very low thanks to the high efficiency of the laser cavity used. Laser cleaning is a non-contact, non-abrasive method that is very gentle on the material surface. Since the course of the interaction of the laser radiation with the material is material-dependent, it is possible to set the cleaning parameters so that the substrate is not damaged after cleaning. About us: Alfa Laser is a Canadian manufacturer of laser cleaning machine. Depending on your application needs, we can design and integrate lasers into your production line, build robotic workstations, or offer handheld mobile he lasers for a variety of applications. Laser Safety Tips: Canada No.1 Laser Cleaning Machine

Laser Classification for Handheld Lasers: The handheld laser cleaning device is classified as a high-power Class IV – Class 4 laser device under Canadian Nuclear Safety and Control Act Radiation Protection Regulations (SOR/2000-203)Radiation Emitting Devices Act and US FDA Regulations 21 CFR 1040.10. This product emits invisible laser radiation at or near 1060 nm wavelength and the total optical energy emitted from the optical output exceeds 20 W. This light level can damage eyes and skin. Although radiation is invisible, the beam can cause irreversible damage to the cornea. Laser safety goggles are supplied with ALFA LASER Machines but must be always worn during laser operation. Warning Sign: LASER (Light-Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) Following Instructions and Measures to be taken when seeing this Warning Sign: Avoid Laser Beam Sphere Use Personal Protective Equipment Shield Laser Beam Define Laser Area Reduce Laser Performance to Needed Energy Level - Wear suitable laser safety goggles when operating this device. Choosing the right laser safety eyewear requires the end user to accurately identify the wavelength range emitted by the product. If the device is a tunable laser or Raman product, it emits light over a range of wavelengths, so the end user should ensure that the laser safety glasses they use will protect them over the entire wavelength range from the light emitted by the device. must be verified. - Use of controls, adjustments, or performance of procedures other than those specified in this user manual may result in hazardous radiation exposure. - Do not install or terminate fiber optic cables when the laser is active. Safety Awareness: Ansi Standard Laser Class 4 Safety Label at Top & Front of Each Machine Safety Awareness: 1. Beams from laser material processing can cause skin burns and serious eye damage. Proper use and care of this system is essential to its safe operation. Use of controls or adjustments, or performance of procedures other than those specified herein, may result in exposure to hazardous laser radiation. 2. When using the optional Class 4 conversion module, proper eyewear wearing is mandatory whenever the beam indicator is illuminated on the Class 4 control panel. Glasses must be properly certified for use and protection at all material processing laser wavelengths used (10.6 microns, 9.3 microns and 1.06 microns) and have a minimum optical density of 5+. If you are unsure of the proper eyewear requirements, do not operate the laser system with a Class 4 conversion module installed, contact your certified laser safety representative or contact the ALFA LASER factory support team at support@alfalaser.ca 3. ALFA LASER The Laser Cleaning Machine is equipped with interlocked access doors on both sides of the unit. An optional Class 4 conversion module allows the user to operate the laser system with the side panel open. This device bypasses the safety interlock on the side panel of the laser system. When this optional device is installed, the protective system housing cannot completely contain the infrared laser radiation produced by the laser source, creating an exposure risk. This optional device redefines the safety classification of laser systems from Class 1, which is considered safe under all conditions of normal use, to Class 4, which is considered potentially hazardous. Additionally, the system enclosure does not contain flames or by-products from potentially ignitable materials within the system enclosure. Also be aware that infrared laser radiation emitted from the housing of a system with a Class 4 conversion module can damage or ignite combustible materials in immediate or distant locations.
